Valg til Equinors styre

Bedriftsforsamlingen i Equinor ASA (OSE:EQNR, NYSE:EQNR) har i møte 9. juni 2020 valgt Tove Andersen som nytt medlem av Equinors styre.Jon Erik Reinhardsen ble gjenvalgt som styreleder, Jeroen van der Veer som nestleder og i tillegg ble Bjørn Tore Godal, Rebekka Glasser Herlofsen, Anne Drinkwater, Jonathan Lewis og Finn Bjørn Ruyter gjenvalgt som aksjonærvalgte styremedlemmer til Equinor ASA.Tove Andersen har nylig blitt konserndirektør for Europa i Yara International ASA. Siden 2018 har hun vært konserndirektør for Produksjon i Yara og 2016-2018 var hun konserndirektør for Supply Chain i Yara. Tidligere har hun hatt mange andre ledende roller i Yara og Norsk Hydro/Yara. Hun startet i Norsk Hydro i 1997. Andersen har bred internasjonal industriell erfaring samt betydelig styreerfaring.Andersen er styremedlem i Borregaard ASA og Cambi ASA.Andersen er utdannet sivilingeniør ved Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) og har en Master i Business Administration (MBA) fra Handelshøyskolen BI.Valget av aksjonærvalgte medlemmer til styret er gjort med virkning fra 1. juli 2020 og gjelder frem til neste ordinære valg av styrets aksjonærvalgte medlemmer til styret i 2021.Kontaktpersoner:Tone Lunde Bakker, leder av valgkomiteenForespørsler formidles gjennom informasjonsdirektør i Equinor, Bård Glad Pedersen, +47 918 01 791.Denne opplysningen er informasjonspliktig etter verdipapirhandelloven §5-12
