to Nasdaq Copenhagen21 November 2019Thomas Kähler nominated new Chairman of the Board of ROCKWOOL International A/SROCKWOOL International A/S Board of Directors has today decided to nominate Thomas Kähler as new Chairman of the Board following the April 2020 General Meeting; subject to re-election at the Annual General Meeting.Thomas Kähler will resign from his position as Senior Vice President, Systems Division.At the Annual General Meeting Henrik Brandt will not stand for re-election.Thomas Kähler has been a Board member of ROCKWOOL International since 2008. In addition, he has held several management positions in the Group; since 2015 as head of the Group’s Systems Division and part of Group Management. Thomas Kähler has earlier in his career acquired experience with management, sales and business development in international companies outside the ROCKWOOL Group.“I am extremely pleased that a unanimous Board today has backed my candidacy. Now a process is underway that will lead to the election and constitution of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting in April next year,” says Thomas Kähler. “I have had and continue to have an excellent collaboration with CEO Jens Birgersson and the other Group Management members.
