Texas Precious Metals Acquires Nebü, Expanding Physical Gold Ownership into Wearable Bullion

Acquisition brings Nebü’s high-purity gold jewelry and wearable bullion platform into Texas Precious Metals’ growing portfolio

SHINER, Texas, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Texas Precious Metals, one of the nation’s largest vertically-integrated precious metals companies, today announced the acquisition of Nebü, a wearable bullion brand known for creating jewelry from high-purity gold and platinum with transparent precious-metal weight and pricing.

Founded in 2019 by Helen Viljoen, Nebü was built around a simple idea: precious metal jewelry can be both beautifully designed and grounded in measurable intrinsic value.

The acquisition expands Texas Precious Metals’ physical precious metals offering beyond traditional coins, rounds and bars and builds upon an existing relationship between the companies. Nebü products are already available through Texas Precious Metals.

“Jewelry has been a form of gold ownership for thousands of years,” said Tarek Saab, Co-founder and CEO of Texas Precious Metals. “We believe the wearable bullion market will become an increasingly popular option for our ever-broadening client base. Nebü has become the market leader in the category, and we are pleased to add the line to our growing collection of custom products.”

Nebü differentiates itself from conventional fine jewelry by making the precious metal itself central to the product. Rather than relying primarily on gemstones, branding, or traditional luxury markups to establish value, Nebü emphasizes metal purity, gram weight, craftsmanship, and the relationship between product price and the underlying value of the precious metal.

“I founded Nebü with the belief that fine jewelry could be more than a beautiful symbol of wealth, and gold more than a safe haven asset stored away in a vault,” said Helen, founder of Nebü. “That idea grew into an entirely new category in wearable bullion. With Texas Precious Metals’ scale, expertise, and deep roots in precious metals, I’m incredibly excited about what we can build together.”

Texas Precious Metals plans to expand Nebü’s availability and introduce additional wearable bullion products over time, designed to broaden access to the category while maintaining Nebü’s high-purity standards and design aesthetic.
