SpareBank 1 SMN: Finanstilsynet har fattet vedtak om minimumskrav til summen av ansvarlig kapital og konvertibel gjeld (MREL) for Sparebank 1 SMN

Finanstilsynet har konkludert at den foretrukne krisehåndteringsstrategien for SpareBank 1 SMN Mer at banken videreføres i en krisesituasjon. Med hjemmel i finansforetaksloven § 20-9, jf. § 20-25, har derfor Finanstilsynet fattet følgende vedtak:Sparebank 1 SMN-konsernet skal ha ansvarlig kapital og konvertibel gjeld (MREL) som til sammen skal utgjøre 33,3 prosent av et justert beregningsgrunnlag per 31. desember 2018. utgjør minimum 27 235 millioner kroner. Konvertibel gjeld som skal medregnes for å oppfylle minstekravet, skal være etterstilt gjeld, utstedt fra morselskapet til eksterne investorer.Kravet gjelder fra 31. mars 2020. Kravet om lavere prioritet (etterstilt gjeld) skal være oppfylt innen 31. desember 2022 og kan fases inn ved at SpareBank 1 SMN fram til denne datoen kan medregne gjeld som er utstedt før 1. januar 2020 forutsatt at denne tilfredsstiller generelle krav til konvertibel gjeld.SpareBank 1 SMN må innen 31. mars 2020 oversende Finanstilsynet en plan for innfasing av kravet om etterstillelse av MREL kvalifiserende gjeld. Planen skal inkludere en rimelig opptrapping for å tilfredsstille kravet innen 31. desember 2022.Kontaktperson Sparebank 1 SMN
