Soitec Trading Update
Soitec Trading Update
Bernin (Grenoble), France, September 2nd, 2026 – Soitec (Euronext Paris), a world leader in the design and manufacturing of innovative semiconductor materials, today updated its Q2’27 revenue guidance and its outlook for Photonics-SOI revenue due to accelerating demand for Photonics-SOI, greater visibility on near-term customer requirements, and the Group’s ability to adjust capacity to meet that demand.
Q2’27 revenue is now expected to grow around 50% year-on-year, compared with Q2’26, at constant currency and scope, versus the more than 30% growth guidance provided in Soitec’s Q1’27 revenue press release on July 22nd, 2026.
Soitec now expects:
- Photonics-SOI revenue in Q2’27 to be around 3 times the Q2’26 level of around $25m.
- Photonics-SOI revenue in H1’27 to be around 2.3 times the H1’26 level of around $50m.
- Photonics-SOI revenue in FY27 to be between 2.5 and 3 times the FY26 level of slightly above $100m.
As indicated in its Q1’27 revenue press release, Soitec continues to sign multi-year Capacity Reservation Agreements with multiple Photonics-SOI customers. The Group expects agreements to be in place with eight of around ten major Photonics-SOI customers in the coming weeks.
While Photonics-SOI activity accelerates, Soitec’s expectations for the rest of the business remain broadly unchanged.
