Riksgälden ställer ut garanti för Braathens Regional AirwaysRiksgälden har ställt ut en kreditgaranti för ett lån om 200 miljoner kronor till flygbolaget Braathens Regional Airways AB. Garantin beviljas inom ramen för det statliga garantiprogrammet för flygföretag som infördes för att dämpa de ekonomiska konsekvenserna av coronapandemin.Lånet löper över fem år och garantin täcker 90 procent av lånets kapitalbelopp.BakgrundFör att dämpa de ekonomiska konsekvenserna av coronaviruset ställer Riksgälden, på uppdrag av regeringen, ut kreditgarantier till flygföretag. Kreditgarantierna får maximalt uppgå till sammanlagt 5 miljarder kronor, varav maximalt 1,5 miljarder kronor får avse SAS AB. Garantin för Braathens Regional Airways är den andra garantin som ställts ut inom ramen för flyggarantiprogrammet. Den första garantin ställdes ut till förmån för SAS AB. SAS AB har därefter återbetalat lånet och Riksgäldens åtagande i detta fall är avslutat.Inga nya garantier kan beviljas under flyggarantiprogrammet efter den 31 december 2020.KontaktPressfunktionen, 08-613 47 01
