 84. gr. laga um verðbréfaviðskipti nr. 108/2007 kemur fram að ef útgefandi hækkar eða lækkar hlutafé sitt eða fjölgar eða fækkar atkvæðum skal hann, á síðasta viðskiptadegi þess mánaðar er breytingarnar eiga sér stað, birta opinberlega heildarfjölda hluta og heildarfjölda atkvæða.Þann 8. maí sl. tilkynntu Reitir um að lögformleg skilyrði hlutafjárlækkunar þeirrar sem samþykkt var á aðalfundi félagsins þann 10. mars 2020 hefðu verið uppfyllt og lækkunin skráð í Fyrirtækjaskrá.Heildarfjöldi hluta og heildarfjöldi atkvæða er þar af leiðandi 669.856.201 kr. að nafnverði.
