OMA reports a 6.4% increase in November 2019 passenger traffic

The Ciudad Juárez (+19.1%), Monterrey (+2.3%), and Culiacán (+6.9%) airports contributed most to traffic growth
MONTERREY, Mexico, Dec. 04, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (NASDAQ: OMAB; BMV: OMA), reports that terminal passenger traffic at its 13 airports increased 6.4% in November 2019, as compared to November 2018. Domestic traffic increased 6.3%, and international traffic increased 8.0%.During November 2019, domestic traffic increased in twelve of our airports, with the largest increases in:Ciudad Juarez (+19.0%) as a result of increased traffic on the Mexico City route.Monterrey (+2.0%) benefitted from increased traffic on the Cancún and Mexico City routes.Culiacán (+6.9%), due to increased traffic on the Mexico City and Tijuana routes.Acapulco (+23.5%) due to increased traffic on the Mexico City route, andChihuahua (+9.4%) benefitted from increased traffic on the Mexico City route.In November 2019, VivaAerobus started flying the Monterrey – San Luis Potosi, San Luis Potosí – Monterrey, and Monterrey – La Paz routes; TAR started flying the Monterrey – Aguascalientes and Monterrey – Veracruz routes; and Interjet started flying the Zihuatanejo – Toluca route.International traffic grew in eleven of our airports in November, with the largest increases in Monterrey (+4.8%), as a result of increases in the number of passengers on the Las Vegas route; and Durango (+105.7%), due to increased traffic on the Dallas route.In November 2019, Swoop started flying the Mazatlán – Edmonton route.Of total passenger traffic, 99.3% was commercial, and 0.7% was general aviation.This report may contain forward-looking information and statements.
