News on wind turbine manufacturer Senvion

Company Announcement no. 10 – 2019News on wind turbine manufacturer SenvionOn 21 October 2019, Senvion has issued a press release announcing that wind turbine manufacturer Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) is acquiring selected European assets from Senvion, including its blade facility in Portugal, Ria Blades.According to Senvion, the transaction is expected to close before the end of 2019, subject to regulatory approval.On 2 September 2019, Roblon entered into a standstill agreement with Senvion. This agreement expired on 4 October 2019. In accordance with the standstill agreement, Roblon has refrained from taking any further legal action against the Senvion Group, and Senvion has acknowledged Roblon’s claims for compensation in the amount of USDm 3.6.Roblon’s Management considers the sale of Senvion to SGRE to be a positive development. However, Roblon awaits an opportunity to meet with the new owners of Ria Blades and the divested parts of the Senvion Group to learn about their plans for the acquisition.
