MCH Group gibt Absage der Art Basel in Miami Beach bekanntDie MCH Group sieht sich angesichts der aktuellen globalen Rahmenbedingungen gezwungen, die Durchführung der Art Basel in Miami Beach im Dezember abzusagen. Diese sollte vom 3. bis 6. Dezember 2020 im Miami Beach Convention Center stattfinden.Ausschlaggebend für den Entscheid der Messeabsage waren die Auswirkungen der Pandemie im Süden Floridas, den USA und auf der ganzen Welt, insbesondere die bestehenden Unsicherheiten und Einschränkungen bei der Durchführung von Grossveranstaltungen, die anhaltenden internationalen Reisebeschränkungen und -verbote sowie Quarantänebestimmungen innerhalb der USA und auf internationaler Ebene.Die MCH Group setzt bei der Art Basel weiterhin auf die Weiterentwicklung ihrer digitalen Formate sowie auf die Planung ihrer Messen 2021 in Hong Kong, Basel und Miami Beach, um auch so weiterhin Galerien auf der ganzen Welt zu unterstützen.Die digitalen Initiativen der Art Basel werden Ende September und Ende Oktober 2020 mit zwei weiteren thematischen Ausgaben der Online-Viewing Rooms verstärkt. Im Dezember 2020 folgen dann Online Viewing Rooms, die allen zur Art Basel in Miami Beach 2020 zugelassenen Galerien offensteht.Die nächste Ausgabe der Art Basel in Miami Beach findet vom 2. bis 5. Dezember 2021 statt, mit Preview am 1. Dezember und 2. Dezember 2021.
