Lánasjóður sveitarfélaga – útlán fyrstu 9 mánuði ársins

Lánasjóður sveitarfélaga ohf. hefur á fyrstu 9 mánuðum ársins 2020 veitt langtímalán til sveitarfélaga að fjárhæð 19,0 milljarða króna. Fjárþörf sveitarfélaga hefur aukist vegna COVID-19 faraldursins og búast má við útlánaaukningu hjá Lánasjóðnum á árinu af þeim sökum. Lánasjóðurinn hefur metið aukna fjárþörf sveitarfélaga vegna faraldursins á bilinu 40 til 50 milljarðar á árunum 2020 og 2021.Yfirlit yfir veitt útlán síðustu ára:
Lánasjóðurinn vísar í tilkynningar sínar til kauphallar þann 1. apríl og 8. maí 2020 þar sem áætlun um útgáfu skuldabréfa var uppfærð í ljósi aðstæðna. Upprunaleg útgáfuáætlun gerði ráð fyrir 14 til 18 milljörðum króna skuldabréfaútgáfu fyrir árið 2020 en núverandi áætlun gerir ráð fyrir að skuldabréfaútgáfan nemi á bilinu 25 til 30 milljarðar. Lánasjóðurinn sér ekki ástæðu til að breyta þeirri áætlun að svo stöddu en skuldabréfaútgáfa nam 18,6 milljörðum á fyrstu 9 mánuðum ársins.
