Koronapandemia vaikutti voimakkaasti Saga Fursin huutokaupan minkinnahkojen myyntiin

 Saga Furs Oyj, sisäpiiritiedote, 5.7.2020 klo 17.00Saga Fursin huutokaupan minkinnahkojen myynti päättyi tänään. Huutokauppa alkoi 29.6. ja tarjolla oli noin 5 miljoonaa minkinnahkaa.Covid-19-pandemia ja erittäin hitaasti elpyvä kulutuskäyttäytyminen heijastuivat täysimääräisesti myyntiin. Huutokauppaan osallistui noin 50 lähinnä eurooppalaista ostajaa, mikä on merkittävästi normaalia vähemmän. Koronapandemiasta johtuvat tiukat matkustusrajoitukset karsivat voimakkaasti EU:n ulkopuolelta tulevien ostajien määrää.Epävarma markkinatilanne toi esiin perinteisen huutokaupan edut verkkohuutokauppaan nähden, vaikka kysyntä jäikin hyvin valikoivaksi ja minkinnahoista myytiin vain 16 %. Suurimmat ostot tehtiin Kiinaan.
