Kommentaar Ärilehes ilmunud artiklile seoses AS Baltika tütarettevõtete vara müügiga

Kahetsusväärselt on Ärilehes avaldatud artikkel, mis sisaldab valeväiteid ja mis võib kohatult mõjutada AS-i Baltika saneerimismenetlust ning on reklaamiks Kawe Invest OÜ poolt teostatud pandiõiguse käigus läbi viidavale oksjonile. Artiklis kajastatud enampakkumised ei puuduta AS-i Baltika ega käimasolevat saneerimismenetlust. Tegemist ei ole AS Baltika varaga. Selline valeväide on eksitav.Ainus pooltõde on artiklis sisuliselt see, et AS Baltika tütarettevõttel OÜ Baltman on tekkinud üürivõlg ja Kawe teostas üürileandja pandiõigust. Samas, see võlgnevus tekkis COVID-19 pandeemia ja eriolukorra ajal, kui kõik äriühingud, eriti jaekaubandusega tegelevad, olid keeruliste valikute ees. Olukorra leevenduseks palus Baltman Kawelt üüri tasumise osas vastutulekut, kuid Kawe keeldus igasugustest Baltmani pakutud lahendustest. Selle tulemus on see, et Kawe on otsustanud panna enampakkumisele null eurose alghinnaga Baltmani tooted, mille tegelik jaehind ulatub 550 000 euroni.
