Brussel, 16 april 2020, 12u30 CESTKBC Groep geeft meer details over vergadering van aandeelhouders op 7 mei 2020In het licht van de wereldwijde reisbeperkingen en de aanbevelingen van de gezondheidsautoriteiten op het gebied van social distancing, had KBC Groep NV op 30 maart besloten om de Algemene Vergadering van Aandeelhouders dit jaar op een virtuele manier te organiseren. KBC Groep NV nam hierover ook een specifieke clausule op in de oproeping voor de Algemene Vergadering die op 3 april 2020 werd gepubliceerd.BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING : Afhankelijk van de maatregelen van de autoriteiten in het kader van de Covid-19-pandemie, kan KBC Groep NV beslissen om de deelnemingsmodaliteiten voor de Jaarvergadering aan te passen of, in voorkomend geval, om deze Jaarvergadering uit te stellen. Dergelijke herziene deelnemingsmodaliteiten en/of uitstel zullen tijdig worden aangekondigd op de website van KBC (www.kbc.com) en, in voorkomend geval, via andere middelen om ervoor te zorgen dat alle aandeelhouders naar behoren en tijdig worden geïnformeerd. In de tussentijd en om redenen van openbare veiligheid/gezondheid worden alle aandeelhouders sterk aangemoedigd om zoveel mogelijk gebruik te maken van het hieronder beschreven recht om bij volmacht te stemmen en het recht om schriftelijke vragen te stellen.Vandaag maakt KBC Group NV op zijn website (www.kbc.com/corporate governance / algemene vergadering KBC Groep) meer details bekend over de bijkomende en gewijzigde informatie aan de aandeelhouders met betrekking tot de Jaarvergadering.
