Oliver Wriedt will be the headline speaker for the event. Oliver is Chief Executive Officer of DFG Investment Advisers. Mr. Wriedt joined DFG in 2019 as Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for overseeing business strategy and day-to-day management of the firm, driving product development, and leading fundraising efforts. He has twenty-five years of experience in lending, structuring, portfolio management and business development. DFG has presented to our group in the past in particular during the past crisis when CLOs were mispriced. DFG believes we are again at a point in this cycle where there is CLO mispricing and DFG can pursue those opportunities.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wriedt spent 6 years at CIFC Asset Management, where served as Co-Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining CIFC, Mr. Wriedt served as a Managing Director in Providence Equity Partners’ Capital Markets Group, where he focused on the build out of the firm’s direct lending, long/short credit and CLO issuance efforts. Mr. Wriedt serves as a director on the board of The River Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating hunger, homelessness and poverty in New York City. Mr Wriedt will be joined by two family offices. Sean Koh is an expert in cross-border transactions in finance, technology, entertainment and other various fields. With a variety of private asset management and project finanacing, Sean has invested billions of dollors with his family office Koherent Incorporated.

Having also grown up in New York City, Sean is deeply rooted in a multi-generational family of entrepreneurs who invented HDMI and privatized emerging markets, and strongly values giving back to society. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business.

Entrepreneurship is part of Brian Koo’s DNA. He is the eldest grandson of the founder of LG Electronics. Brian is the founder of three prolific funds—Harbor Pacific Capital, Innovation Hub, and Formation 8.

Today, he is challenging the traditional venture capital model as the leader of Formation Group, where he has incubated two companies: EVA Automation, a smart home company that acquired Bowers & Wilkins in 2016, and FLK, an online grocery marketplace.
