  Investors House OyjLehdistötiedote, julkaistavissa 2.9.2020 klo 9.15INVESTORS HOUSE: TYÖTTÖMYYDEN KASVU NÄKYY ASUNTOVUOKRAUKSESSAInvestors House-konserniin kuuluva OVV-ketju vuokrasi elokuussa 385 asuntoa, mikä oli seitsemän prosenttia vähemmän kuin edellisvuoden vastaavana ajankohtana (414 asuntoa). Kumulatiivisesti 1-7/2020 OVV-ketjun vuokraamien asuntojen määrä 3.144 asuntoa vastaa edellisvuotta (3.151). Lasku on tapahtunut kesäkaudella 6-8/2020, jolloin ovat olleet samaiset seitsemän prosenttia edelliskesän alapuolella.Investors Housen käsityksen mukaan työttömyyden kasvun ja työllisyystoimien lykkääntymisen johdosta ihmisten epävarmuus omasta taloudestaan on kasvanut. Tämä näkyy vuokramarkkinoilla hieman hiipuvana kysyntänä.  Vuokra-asuntojen tarjonta sen sijaan ei rajoita muuttohaluja. Hyviä vuokra-asuntoja on tarjolla aikaisempaa enemmän. Merkittävään tarjonnan lisäämäiseen ei ole tällä erää tarvetta.’’Työttömyyden kasvu ja epävarmat talousnäkymät saavat osan ihmisistä lykkäämään asunnonvaihtoa. On selvää, että työttömänä tai lomautusuhan alla ei suunnitella asunnonvaihtoa.
