About HMM0301HMM0301 [NCT03173391] is a Phase III registration trial targeting Chinese drug naïve patients, positioning dorzagliatin as first-line therapy. The monotherapy trial is a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, and patients are randomized 2:1 to receive either dorzagliatin or placebo. The clinical study evaluates the efficacy and safety of dorzagliatin during 24 weeks of double-blinded treatment, followed by a subsequent 28-week open label treatment, for a total of 52 weeks. The primary efficacy endpoint is evaluated at the conclusion of the first 24 weeks. Enrollment for the trial was completed on February 28, 2019.
