(together with its consolidated subsidiaries, “Apollo” or the “Firm”) (NYSE: APO), a leading global alternative investment manager, today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Aluminum Can and Aluminum Rolling Businesses (the “Business”) from Showa Denko K.K. (“Showa Denko”), a Japanese leading producer of functional chemicals and industrial materials.
