FPX Announces Upsize to Previously Announced Bought Deal Public Offering to $14 Million

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 18, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FPX Nickel Corp. (FPX-TSX.V) (“FPX” or the “Company”) announces that it has entered into an amendment (the “Amendment”) to its previously announced agreement with Paradigm Capital Inc. and Cormark Securities Inc. (the “Underwriters”), pursuant to which the Underwriters have agreed to increase the size of the bought deal financing. Pursuant to the Amendment, the Underwriters will purchase, on a bought deal basis, an aggregate of 21,539,000 common shares (the “Common Shares”) at an offering price of $0.65 per Common Share (the “Issue Price”) for gross proceeds of approximately $14 million (the “Offering”).The Company has granted the Underwriters an option, exercisable, in whole or in part, at any time until and including 30 days following the closing of the Offering, to purchase up to 3,230,850 additional Common Shares, which is equal to 15% of the Common Shares issued in the Offering, at the Issue Price, to cover over-allotments, if any.The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Offering primarily for exploration and development activities on its Baptiste Nickel Project and general corporate purposes.
