EPCOR USA to Acquire Johnson Utilities

PHOENIX, Oct. 06, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EPCOR Water Arizona Inc., a subsidiary of EPCOR USA Inc. (EPCOR USA), today announced that it has reached an agreement – subject to regulatory approval and completion of the financial transaction – to acquire the assets and operations of Johnson Utilities LLC (Johnson Utilities).

Located just southeast of the greater metropolitan Phoenix area, Johnson Utilities serves approximately 29,450 water and 40,160 wastewater customers in the communities of Florence, Queen Creek and unincorporated San Tan Valley in Pinal County.EPCOR’s acquisition of Johnson Utilities is subject to regulatory approval by the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC).
