PayPoint plcDirectorate ChangePayPoint plc today announces the appointment of Ben Wishart as an independent non-executive director of the Company, effective 14 November 2019. Following this appointment, Ben will serve as a member of the nomination and remuneration committees together with the audit committee and its sub-committee, the Cyber & IT Committee.Ben is currently a member of the Executive Committee of Ahold Delhaize, a food retailer leader in both supermarkets and e-commerce.  As its Global Chief Information Officer he is responsible for leadership and governance on technology matters globally, including strategy and solution delivery, enabling digital platforms, cyber defence and sourcing.  Ben has previously served as CIO of Morrisons plc and Whitbread plc and has held various senior Information Technology roles at Tesco plc.Nick Wiles, PayPoint plc’s Executive Chairman added: “On behalf of the Board I’d like to welcome Ben to PayPoint.  Ben has extensive knowledge across a number of sectors and will enhance the Board with his experience in technology and business transformation.”Commenting on his appointment Ben said: PayPoint is an outstanding company with a great track record of innovation in simplifying the complex business of payments.
