DFDS’ EUROPÆISKE LOGISTIKNETVÆRK UDVIDES MED HUISMAN GROUP

For yderligere at udvide og udvikle DFDS’ europæiske logistiknetværk har DFDS erhvervet 100% af aktiekapitalen i det hollandske logistikfirma Huisman Group BV med hovedkontor i Wijchen.“Huisman Group er en særdeles velrenommeret udbyder af transport af del-laster mellem Holland og England, hvilket supplerer vores nuværende stærke fuld-last-aktiviteter på disse markeder. Vi kan nu tilbyde kunderne et endnu bredere spektrum af logistikløsninger,” siger Niklas Andersson, Executive Vice President og leder af DFDS’ Logistikdivision.
Huisman GroupHuisman Group er leverandør af del-last-transport og kontraktlogistik med fokus på tidskritisk fragt mellem Storbritannien/Irland og det kontinentale Europa.Driften omfatter lageraktiviteter og cross-docking i Wijchen i Holland og Corby i England samt en flåde på omkring 55 trailere og 50 lastbiler. Virksomheden har 104 ansatte og en årlig omsætning på EUR 23 mio.
Strategisk fit                                                                                                             Huisman Group udvider DFDS’ aktiviteter mellem det kontinentale Europa og Storbritannien/Irland og tilføjer især ekspertise inden for del-last-løsninger. Dette forventes at muliggøre en videreudvikling af del-last-løsninger i DFDS’ logistiknetværk og give adgang til nye kunder. Købet forventes således at medføre synergier fra såvel forretningsudvikling som operationel integration.
Transaktion                                                                                                               Transaktionen blev lukket i dag, og Huisman Group konsolideres ind i DFDS Group.Transaktionen har ingen væsentlig betydning for DFDS’ forventninger for 2019.
