Changes in Aktia’s Executive Committee: Niina Bergring appointed Director of Asset ManagementNiina Bergring, M.Sc. (Econ) has been appointed Director for business area Asset Management as of 1 January 2020. She will be a member of Aktia’s Executive Committee and report to CEO Mikko Ayub.Niina Bergring has an extensive background in asset management, most recent as Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Veritas Pension Insurance Company. During her long career Niina Bergring has held several leading positions in the finance sector and she has versatile experience from international banks, pension companies and foundations.“Aktia has through its strategy update sharpened its focus on asset management and I am very happy that Niina Bergring will be in charge of our continued efforts within the asset management area. Hammarén will also continue as member of the Executive Committee and as Deputy CEO.HR Director and member of the Executive Committee Anu Tuomolin is appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsible for HR, Business Risk Management, Production Center and Data & Analytics.The changes in the Executive Committee’s areas of responsibility will enter into force on 1 November 2019.Master of Social Sciences Petteri Arinen has been appointed Head of Sales for institutional clients within the asset management. He will join the company as of 1 January 2020, at the latest, and report to Niina Bergring, Director for business area Asset Management.
