(Nasdaq: CALA), a clinical stage biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing novel small molecule drugs for the treatment of cancer and other life-threatening diseases, today announced that it intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. All of the shares of common stock are being offered by Calithera. Citigroup is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.
