TORONTO, March 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited (“BlackRock Canada”), an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of BlackRock, Inc. (“BlackRock”) (NYSE: BLK) today announced the exchange ratios for the mergers of certain iShares exchange-traded funds.

As announced on March 1, 2023 and March 13, 2023, unitholders approved the merger of each of the merging iShares exchange-traded funds (“Merging ETFs”) into the applicable continuing iShares exchange-traded funds (“Continuing ETFs”), as set forth in the table below (the “Mergers”), effective on or about March 27, 2023. Unitholders will receive cash in lieu of any fractional units. The exchange ratio was calculated based on the respective net asset values of both the Merging ETFs and Continuing ETFs as of market close on March 24, 2023.
