ASUS Launches K-12 EmpowerED Hardware Grant

“Our goal with the EmpowerED Hardware Grant Program is to remove the technology barriers holding back great ideas,” said Shawn Chang, General Manager of ASUS North America. “By delivering complete, high-performance hardware directly to classrooms, we are helping educators create modern spaces where students can innovate and thrive.”

Empowering Visionary Projects in K-12 Classrooms

Great educators do not lack vision, rather they often lack the hardware needed to bring big ideas to life. The ASUS EmpowerED Hardware Grant Program solves this challenge by delivering complete and turn-key technology packages directly to forward-thinking K-12 institutions. Instead of providing general funding, ASUS equips schools with everything required to turn ambitious and hands-on learning concepts into active programs.

Each winning school will be provided high-performance notebook or desktop configurations. These devices include a full suite of ASUS peripherals to outfit up to 12 student stations. The program concentrates on four high-impact disciplines:

·       AI/STEM Labs: Deliver the computing power needed to explore artificial intelligence, data science, and emerging technologies.

·       Gaming/Esports Labs: Support competitive and industry-standard programs that build teamwork, strategy, and technical skills.

·       Media & Digital Creativity Labs: Provide professional-grade tools for digital storytelling, graphic design, and content creation.

·       Robotics Labs: Supply the reliable hardware required to design, build, and program complex engineering projects.

Through this initiative, ASUS aims to empower visionary educators. ASUS works alongside institutions to build modern spaces where students can innovate, collaborate, and thrive.

Who Can Apply

The EmpowerED Hardware Grant Program is open to all U.S. K-12 schools and districts, including specialized K-12 labs. Applicants are asked to share their vision for how they would use the equipment to power their program. Selected schools will partner with ASUS on a co-branded case study, marketing materials, and a live event, putting their program in front of ASUS’s national audience.

How to Apply

Applications for the EmpowerED Hardware Grant Program open on September 7 and close on October 16. ASUS will select the four partner schools by November 16, with project kickoff taking place between November and December. Schools can apply and learn more at us.asus.click/GrantProgramSite.
