American Airlines Group Announces Pricing of Offering of Common Stock

FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 10, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — American Airlines Group Inc. (NASDAQ: AAL) (the “Company”) today announced that it priced its underwritten public offering of 38,500,000 shares of its common stock (the “Common Stock”). BofA Securities may offer the Common Stock from time to time in one or more transactions on the Nasdaq, in the over-the-counter market, through negotiated transactions or otherwise at market prices prevailing at the time of sale, at prices related to prevailing market prices or at negotiated prices. The Company expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes and to enhance the Company’s liquidity position.
The Company has granted the underwriter of the offering a 30-day option to purchase, in whole or in part, up to 5,775,000 additional shares of Common Stock.The offering is expected to close on November 12, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.BofA Securities is acting as the sole underwriter for the offering.
