Alexis Talia Named Director of the Plaintiff Recovery Trust

Independent CPA leads the PRT and supports the settlement planners who use it, without competitive conflict

Warrenton, VA, Aug. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Eastern Point Trust Company (EPTC), the administrator of the Plaintiff Recovery Trust (PRT), announced today that Alexis Talia was appointed Director of the Plaintiff Recovery Trust by Forward Giving, Inc. (the co-creator and trustee of the PRT). Ms. Talia will serve as the new point of contact for all PRTs and will immediately replace prior PRT points of contact.

As Director, Alexis leads strategy, operations, and client services for the PRT, a tax planning solution intended to help plaintiffs evaluate potential tax planning strategies related to their recovery. She works directly with plaintiffs, their legal counsel, and the settlement planners who use the PRT and educates the litigation community on the PRT.  She also directs PRT administration.

Alexis holds a degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. She spent more than a decade in management consulting before joining the PRT, driving financial transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 organizations.

“Alexis gives plaintiffs, counsel, and the settlement community a single, highly sophisticated and experienced dedicated point of contact for the Plaintiff Recovery Trust,” said Lawrence Eisenberg, co-creator of the PRT and executive director of Forward Giving, Inc. “Because Alexis is independent and not a settlement planner, she can support every settlement planner who works with plaintiffs who use a PRT, without competition, conflict, or overlap. She can be relied on as a neutral, dedicated resource, there to strengthen their work in the best interests of the plaintiff. She has more than a decade of Fortune 100 management consulting and financial transformation experience, which, together with her CPA background, provides the independence and sophistication this work requires.”

“Alexis’s appointment is the first step in a multi-phase effort to optimize the PRT’s process flow, responsiveness, and expertise,” Eisenberg added. “Additional PRT enhancements will follow, including a sophisticated PRT illustration platform that allows settlement planners to produce personalized analysis quickly and efficiently, allowing them to illustrate potential plaintiff benefits.”
