Opjustering af resultatforventningerne for 2021

Jutlander Bank opjusterer forventningerne til årets resultat før skat til 215-265 mio. kr. mod tidligere 175-225 mio. kr., som udmeldt ved offentliggørelsen af årsrapporten for 2020 den 22. februar 2021.

Årets resultat efter skat opjusteres til 180-220 mio. kr.  mod tidligere 150-190 mio. kr.

Baggrunden for opjusteringen skyldes primært udviklingen i gebyrindtægter og nedskrivninger i 1. kvartal 2021.

I 1. kvartal 2021 har banken registreret et rekordhøjt antal bolighandler, der har medført, at bankens gebyrindtægter er højere end oprindeligt forventet.

Banken har fortsat ikke registreret nogen væsentlige tab som følge af COVID-situationen. I 2020 udgiftsførte banken et ledelsesmæssigt skøn på 89 mio. kr. til imødegåelse af potentielle kredittab på bankens erhvervs- og privatkunder relateret til den økonomiske usikkerhed omkring COVID-situationen. Dette ledelsesmæssige skøn er i det væsentligste uændret pr. 31. marts 2021.

For mange af bankens kunder er den kreditmæssige udvikling positiv, hvorfor banken kan indtægtsføre tidligere foretagne nedskrivninger i 1. kvartal 2021, hvor forventningen tidligere var en udgift.

På baggrund af de foreløbige regnskabstal for 1. kvartal 2021 forventer banken et kvartalsresultat før skat på 95-105 mio. kr. og efter skat på 80-90 mio. kr.

Bankens periodemeddelelse for 1. kvartal 2021 offentliggøres som planlagt den 10. maj 2021.
