Bekaert boekt progressieve verbetering
Omzet, trends en actiesOndanks de aanhoudende onzekerheid vormde het derde kwartaal een kantelpunt in de meeste markten. Bekaerts geconsolideerde omzet nam +24% toe in vergelijking met het zwakke tweede kwartaal van 2020 en de verkoopvolumes lagen amper -2% onder het niveau van het derde kwartaal van 2019. De geconsolideerde omzet over de eerste negen maanden van 2020 was gevoelig lager dan in dezelfde periode vorig jaar (-14% aan constante wisselkoersen) door de heftige impact van de Covid-19-pandemie in de eerste helft van 2020.De externe ontwikkelingen in de drie maanden van juli tot en met september waren:
