DFDS: Oktober mængderapport: Fragt højere end sidste år

 DFDS vil fremover månedligt rapportere færgemængder for fragt og passagerer med henblik på at give yderligere indsigt i trends for mængdeudviklingen i DFDS’ europæiske rutenetværk. Færge – fragt: De samlede mængder i oktober var 2% højere end i 2019 justeret for lukningen af Paldiski-Hanko-ruten.På Nordsøen var mængderne højere end i 2019 som følge af opbygning af lagre i Storbritannien forud for Brexit. Mængder fra bilindustrien fortsatte med at vende tilbage. I Østersøen var mængderne ligeledes højere end i 2019, hovedsageligt på grund af øget kapacitet mellem Estland og Sverige. Mængderne i Middelhavet steg blandt andet som følge af vækst i eksportmængder fra Tyrkiet. Mængderne på Den Engelske Kanal var lidt lavere end i 2019.  Ferry – passager: Det samlede antal passagerer i oktober var 84% lavere end i 2019. Nedgangen afspejler en fortsat negativ effekt fra rejserestriktioner relateret til Covid-19. Antallet af passagerer i Østersøen var væsentligt mindre påvirket.DFDS’ færgeruter muliggør handel og rejser i og omkring Europa.
