Lánasjóður sveitarfélaga aðstoðar Reykjanesbæ vegna endurfjármögnunar

Bæjarstjórn Reykjanesbæjar samþykkti í gær heimild til bæjarstjóra að taka lán hjá Lánasjóðnum að fjárhæð allt að 8,4 milljarðar, til allt að 35 ára, til að endurfjármagna lán hjá Lífeyrissjóði starfsmanna ríkisins (LSR) vegna uppgjörs við Eignarhaldsfélagið Fasteign á sínum tíma.https://www.reykjanesbaer.is/is/stjornsysla/rnb/frettir/reykjanesbaer-undirbyr-endurfjarmognun-84-milljarda-vegna-eignarhaldsfelagsins-fasteignar-ehfStjórn Lánasjóðsins hefur á samsvarandi hátt samþykkt heimild  til framkvæmdastjóra sjóðsins til að veita Reykjanesbæ lán vegna ofangreinds . Sjóðurinn mun afla þessa fjár með útgáfu skuldabréfa á næstu mánuðum og mun gera það samhliða almennri fjármögnun sjóðsins. Það er mat Lánasjóðsins að lánveitingin muni rúmast innan útgáfuáætlunnar ársins og næsta árs.Um verulega fjárhæð er að ræða fyrir Lánasjóðinn og mun hann leggja sig allan fram um að þessi viðbót í lánsfjáröflun trufli ekki aðra lánsfjáröflun sem er sveitarfélögunum afar mikilvæg á þessum tímum þegar þörf fyrir gott aðgengi að lánsfé eykst hjá flestum sveitarfélögum landsins.
