SIVP: LUXEED’s Answer to Intelligent Parking in Every Scenario

WUHU, China, Oct. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Chery Group’s LUXEED Global Media Test Drive concluded on October 20 with a live demonstration of Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP), which impressed participating media with its ability to navigate complex parking environments. The demonstration showcased how LUXEED’s intelligent parking technology handles a range of challenging scenarios, from autonomous parking to vehicle summoning.

Built on environmental perception, local path planning and vehicle motion control, SIVP enables LUXEED vehicles to navigate parking facilities at low speeds, detect and avoid obstacles, identify available parking spaces, search for spaces autonomously and execute parking maneuvers without driver intervention. The system also supports remote vehicle summoning via a mobile device, allowing the vehicle to navigate from its parking space to a designated pickup point.

In the demonstration area, the driver exited the vehicle and confirmed their departure before SIVP was activated. Using its sensor array and intelligent driving algorithms, the test vehicle set off smoothly without human intervention, navigating the parking lanes and mapping its route at controlled speeds. The system made real-time adjustments to its speed and trajectory, avoiding obstacles and maneuvering around them before proceeding to the designated parking space.

To further test its parking capabilities, the demonstration area featured a range of challenging parking configurations. Without manual intervention, SIVP generated real-time, centimeter-level 3D semantic maps of the surrounding environment. By coordinating steering and speed control, the vehicle performed smooth reversing maneuvers and precise trajectory adjustments, positioning itself centrally within the parking space.

Beyond autonomous parking after the driver exits, SIVP also offers one-touch vehicle summoning. After a command was issued through the mobile app, media representatives watched as a vehicle parked some distance away automatically unlocked, started and navigated to the designated pickup point. The feature offers a more convenient alternative to locating a parked vehicle, bringing the vehicle directly to the user.

As a key capability within LUXEED’s intelligent driving suite, SIVP extends intelligent assistance beyond the journey itself to the often-challenging task of parking. From autonomous parking after the driver exits to on-demand vehicle summoning, the live demonstration gave global media representatives and KOLs a firsthand look at LUXEED’s intelligent driving technology and its potential to make everyday mobility more convenient—reinforcing the brand promise: “Redefining Luxury Through Intelligence.”
