FORVIA strengthens AI leadership with the appointment of Raphaël Viard to the Executive Committee

FORVIA announces the appointment of Raphaël Viard, Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer, to the Group’s Executive Committee.

Raphaël Viard, Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer, joins FORVIA’s Executive committee and will report directly to Martin Fischer, Chief Executive Officer.

This appointment reflects the increasingly strategic role of Artificial Intelligence in FORVIA’s transformation and the Group’s ambition to harness digital technologies, data and AI as key drivers of competitiveness, operational performance and value creation.

“With IGNITE, we have defined a clear roadmap to strengthen our foundations and prepare FORVIA for its next phase of growth. Artificial Intelligence is a powerful accelerator of this transformation. Raphaël’s appointment to the Executive Committee reflects our conviction that digital technologies, data and AI will play a decisive role in our ability to create value, increase agility and strengthen FORVIA’s technology leadership.”, commented Martin Fischer, Chief Executive Officer of FORVIA

Raphaël Viard joined FORVIA in August 2025 as Group Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Information Officer, before being appointed Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer. Since joining the Group, he has accelerated the integration of core systems, strengthened FORVIA’s data and AI capabilities, and established a disciplined approach to scaling the digital and AI initiatives with the greatest potential to create value.

Raphaël Viard brings more than 20 years of experience in digital transformation and technology leadership. Before joining FORVIA, he held senior positions at Alstom, SNCF, Saint-Gobain and Bouygues Construction. His experience spans cybersecurity, cloud transformation, IoT platforms and enterprise IT strategy.

“Artificial Intelligence marks a new chapter in FORVIA’s transformation. Our ambition is to make AI a company-wide capability that serves every part of the business, from innovation and industrial operations to customer engagement and decision-making. Joining the Executive Committee is both an honor and an opportunity to contribute even more directly to FORVIA’s transformation and to the successful execution of IGNITE.”, said Raphaël Viard, Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer
