Construction of the phase III of the “Tartu Südamekodu” elderly care home in Tartu County

On 25 February 2026, the fund announced the extension of the “Tartu Südamekodu” elderly care home located in Tartu County, Tartu Parish, Tila village, at Ermi tn 13, as a result of which it will be possible to accommodate additional 72  beds to the existing 180 beds. Demand for elderly care services at “Tartu Südamekodu” has exceeded expectations and this is already the second expansion of the property.

The tender for selecting the builder was carried out in cooperation with Südamekodud AS (legal successor of Tartu Südamekodu OÜ after the merger), which is the operator of the “Tartu Südamekodu” elderly care home. EfTEN Ermi OÜ signed a contract for construction works with RIS Ehitus OÜ, who made the best offer. Construction works will start this week. The planned completion of the phase III construction works is end of July 2027. The estimated cost of the extension is approximately 2.75 million euros, plus VAT.
