Lánasjóður sveitarfélaga áætlar að aukin fjárþörf sveitarfélaga á árunum 2020 og 2021 vegna áhrifa kórónaveirunnar sé á bilinu 40 til 50 milljarðar. Lánasjóðurinn hækkar hér með útgáfuáætlun sína fyrir árið 2020 um 5 milljarða þannig að heildar skuldabréfaútgáfa sjóðsins á árinu er áætluð á bilinu 25 til 30 milljarðar. Lánasjóðurinn uppfærir í dag útboðsdagatal sitt fyrir árið 2020 þannig að útboðsdagar í maí og júní hreyfast til og bætt er við útboði í júlí.
