SAMPO OYJ                             SISÄPIIRITIETO           6.5.2020 klo 9.35Muutos Sampo Oyj:n osinkoehdotukseenSammon hallitus on päättänyt tänään peruuttaa aiemman ehdotuksensa 2,20 euron suuruisesta osingosta ja ehdottaa uutena ehdotuksenaan osinkoa maksettavaksi 1,50 euroa osakkeelta. Päätökseen vaikuttivat finanssimarkkinoilla vallitseva suuri epävarmuus ja Sammon sisäisten osinkojen muutokset.Haastavasta toimintaympäristöstä huolimatta Sampo on sitoutunut maksamaan houkuttelevaa osinkoa. Ehdotus on Sammon osinkopolitiikan mukainen.  Sammon hallitus on ottanut huomioon valvontaviranomaisten viimeaikaiset kannanotot. Sammon vakavaraisuus ja maksuvalmius ovat vakaalla tasolla, ja voitonjakoehdotus ei vaaranna hallituksen näkemyksen mukaan yhtiön toiminta- tai maksukykyä vakuutusasiakkaiden suuntaan.Uusi osinkoehdotus huomioiden Sampo-konsernin vakavaraisuus oli huhtikuun 2020 lopussa noin 187 prosenttia (167 prosenttia 31.12.2019).Hallituksen uusi ehdotus voitonjaosta 2.6.2020 kokoontuvalle yhtiökokoukselleEmoyhtiön voitonjakokelpoiset varat ovat 7 383 547 646,18 euroa, josta tilikauden voitto on 1 489 678 098,42 euroa.Hallitus ehdottaa varsinaiselle yhtiökokoukselle osinkoa maksettavaksi 1,50 euroa kullekin yhtiön 555 351 850 osakkeelle. Maksettavien osinkojen yhteismäärä on 833 027 775,00 euroa. Loput varoista jätetään yhtiön omaan pääomaan.Osinko maksetaan osakkeenomistajalle, joka on osingonmaksun täsmäytyspäivänä 4.6.2020 rekisteröitynä Euroclear Finland Oy:n pitämään osakasluetteloon. Hallitus ehdottaa, että osinko maksetaan 11.6.2020.Yhtiön taloudellisessa asemassa ei tilikauden päättymisen jälkeen ole tapahtunut muita olennaisia muutoksia kuin koronaviruspandemian aiheuttama sijoitusomaisuuden markkina-arvojen lasku. Yhtiön maksuvalmius on hyvä, eikä ehdotettu voitonjako vaaranna hallituksen näkemyksen mukaan yhtiön maksukykyä.SAMPO OYJ
