Aktierna har emitterats med stöd av bolagsstämmans emissionsbemyndigande 16.4.2020.Inom ramen för aktiesparprogrammet AktiaUna, som erbjuds koncernens alla medarbetare, har deltagaren möjlighet att spara en del av sin lön och med sparsumman förvärva Aktia-aktier till ett rabatterat pris (sk. sparaktier). Programmet beskrivs närmare i Aktia Bank Abp:s års- och hållbarhetsredovisning.De nya aktierna som emitteras är sk. sparaktier som tecknats för programdeltagarnas räkning med de sparmedel som ackumulerats under sparperioden 1.10.2019–31.3.2020. Aktierna har tecknats till kursen 6,48 euro per aktie, vilket motsvarar Aktia-aktiens medelkurs på Nasdaq Helsinki Oy vägd med volymen av genomförda transaktioner under perioden 1–30.4.2020 minskad med 10 procent.De nya aktierna registreras i handelsregistret 18.5.2020 och upptas till handel på Nasdaq Helsinki Oy från och med 19.5.2020. Efter emissionen ökar antalet aktier i Aktia med 84 355 aktier till 70 221 488 aktier.
