Underskott för staten i januari 2020

Statens betalningar resulterade i ett underskott på 3,0 miljarder kronor i januari. Riksgäldens prognos var ett underskott på 2,3 miljarder kronor. Ett lägre primärt saldo än prognos motverkades av lägre nettoutlåning till myndigheter.
Det primära saldot, som består av skillnaden mellan statens inkomster och utgifter, blev 3,9 miljarder kronor lägre än i prognos. Skatteinkomsterna var cirka 1 miljard kronor lägre än beräknat. Samtidigt blev myndigheternas utgifter något högre, bland annat på grund av högre utgifter för SIDA och Försvarsmakten.Riksgäldens nettoutlåning till myndigheter m.fl. var 3,2 miljarder kronor lägre än beräknat. Det berodde främst på lägre utlåning till CSN och högre inlåning från Pensionsmyndigheten.Räntebetalningarna på statsskulden låg i linje med prognos.För tolvmånadersperioden till och med januari 2020 visade statens betalningar ett överskott på 100,2 miljarder kronor.Statsskulden uppgick till 1 092 miljarder kronor i slutet av januari.Utfallet för februari 2020 publiceras den 6 mars, kl. 09.30.Nya prognoser för 2020 och 2021 publiceras den 18 februari, kl. 09.30.KontaktSofia Nilsson, ekonom, 08 613 47 34
