DNO Opens Taps at Tawke; Reports Second Quarter 2023 Results

Oslo, 17 August 2023 – DNO ASA, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, today reported that production from its flagship Tawke field in Kurdistan has been restarted following a four-month shut-in triggered by the closure of the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline export route. Production was restarted last month to conduct well integrity tests and synchronize reservoir models but has continued in response to strong demand for Tawke oil. Field output is currently averaging 40,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd). The nearby Peshkabir field, on the same license, remains closed. One-half of Tawke production is delivered to the Kurdistan Regional Government and the balance is sold by DNO on behalf of the contractors (DNO 75 percent and Genel Energy International Limited 25 percent) to local trading companies and the oil transported by road tanker. Record high revenue in the first half of 2023 Regulatory release 17 August 2023, 7 a.m. In the first half year of 2023, Kinepolis generated 25.1% more revenue than in the same period in 2022 and 19.8% more than in the first half of record year 2019. EBITDA(L) and revenue per visitor also reached their highest level ever. This was achieved despite the number of visitors still being lower than before the pandemic (-5.3% compared with H1 2019), spread over a now expanded number of cinemas. This larger base underlines the growth potential when visitor numbers continue to increase upon full recovery of the range of international films on offer. The high revenue per visitor reflects the increased demand for more experience and, as such, ‘premium’ film experiences. 17 August 2023: Hexagon Composites (OSE: HEX.OL), world leader in composite cylinder technology and related systems that enable safe delivery of clean gaseous energy for transportation, industries and homes, reported record high revenues of NOK 1 368 (1 034) million (excluding Hexagon Purus) in the second quarter 2023.  This represents 32% growth compared to the same quarter last year, driven by higher volumes and improved pricing.
