Den 27. marts meddelte Tryg at man overgik til helårsudbytte for 2020, som følge af udbruddet af COVID-19, der var kendetegnet ved ekstreme rystelser i kapitalmarkederne og øget regulatorisk pres på tværs af Europa. Trygs forretningsmodel har vist sig at være meget modstandsdygtig på trods af udfordrende tider, og selskabets balanceopgørelse og solvensposition har været meget solid igennem hele perioden. Trygs bestyrelse har i dag godkendt et ordinært udbytte på 5,25 DKK per aktie (cirka 1,6 mia. DKK). Udbetaling af udbytte for 1.-3. kvartal 2020 forventes udbetalt 12. november 2020, og handles eksklusive udbytte 10. november 2020.Udbyttebetalingen er drevet af de overordnede resultater, og en udbyttepolitik om at udbetale et nominelt, stabilt og stigende udbytte.
