Afkoma Landsbankans var neikvæð um 3,6 milljarða króna eftir skatta á fyrstu þremur mánuðum ársins 2020, saman­borið við 6,8 milljarða króna hagnað á sama tímabili árið 2019. Virðisrýrnun útlána nam 5,2 milljörðum króna á tímabilinu, samanborið við virðisrýrnun upp á 1 milljarð króna á sama tímabili í fyrra. Arðsemi eigin fjár á tímabilinu var -5,9% á árs­grundvelli, samanborið við arðsemi upp á 11,2% á sama tímabili 2019.Hreinar vaxtatekjur voru 9,4 milljarðar króna samanborið við 10,2 milljarða króna á sama tímabili árið á undan, sem er 8% lækkun á milli tímabila.
