2019 var et godt år for Jobindex, men Corona-virussen giver fald i antallet af jobannoncer

Gode resultater for Jobindex i 2019
Det gik godt for Jobindex-koncernen i 2019 trods opbremsning og usikkerhed omkring Brexit og risiko for handelskrig. Det viser det endelige regnskab for Jobindex-koncernen, der udover jobdatabaser og rekruttering omfatter nyhedsmediet Computerworld. “Vi brugte 2019 på at videreudvikle og forenkle driften og forberede flytningen til Valby,” siger Kaare Danielsen, direktør for Jobindex. 
Jobindex er godt rustet til at håndtere udfordringerne
Lige nu er der dog meget stor usikkerhed på jobmarkedet som følge af Corona-virussen, og Jobindex følger udviklingen nøje: “Vi har heldigvis en solid og robust virksomhed og er godt forberedte, både på virussen og på en nedgang i markedet”, siger Kaare Danielsen om Jobindex, der var tidligt ude med præventive forholdsregler i virksomheden i relation til Corona-smitten. Næsten alle medarbejdere arbejder nu hjemme, men firmaet fungerer ligesom før, og medarbejderne er ved at vænne sig til en virtuel hverdag. 
Jobindex suspenderer forventningerne for 2020
Internet jobannoncemarkedet startede året med en vækst i januar på ca. 5% i forhold til efteråret. Vi forventede oprindeligt at niveauet holdt resten af året, så resultatet ville vokse med ca. 5% til en omsætning i niveauet 320 mio. kr. og et driftsresultat i niveauet 80 mio. kr. Forudsætningen for dette var, at hverken Brexit, handelskrig, Corona-virussen eller aktiemarkederne skabte usikkerhed i 2020. Corona-virussen har imidlertid allerede nu betydet et betydeligt fald i antallet af jobannoncer, og på grund af den store usikkerhed har vi valgt at suspendere forventningerne til den finansielle udvikling for omsætning og resultat i 2020.
